About Me

I am a food and culture writer based in Brooklyn. I studied journalism at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where I fell in love with reviewing restaurants, creating recipes, and writing about food and culture. Before I graduated in May 2022, I worked as an A&E reporter then editor for my college newspaper, The Minnesota Daily; I interned for the city's lifestyle magazine, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine; and worked as a food reporter for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. After I graduated, I came to New York to work as CNET's news intern through the prestigious American Society of Magazine Editors intern program. I still work there, as CNET's how-to and news writer. When I'm not writing, I'm reading magazines, cooking elaborate meals, and developing recipes for my recipe column on Substack.
